An independent, verifiable calculator

Updated:

This project helps explain ordinary salary in Mexico. It is independent of SAT, IMSS and other government bodies. We publish rules and limitations so you can inspect how each result is calculated. Official links are sources, not endorsements.

How we maintain the rules

Current version: mx-payroll-2026.1.0. Regulatory sources reviewed on 2026-10-01; content updated on 2026-10-02. Before publishing a change, we check the official source, record its effective date and run tests for thresholds, periods and inverse calculations. Legal changes receive a new rule version; this review does not guarantee coverage of later amendments.

If you find an error

Prepare a case using fictional data, pay period, month, region, service years, rule version and an official source URL. Explain expected and observed results. Exclude your payslip, name, RFC, NSS and actual salary. A public support channel is not yet configured; the link below downloads a local template and sends nothing.

Scope of confidence

Tests verify code behavior and published assumptions. They do not constitute accounting certification or an independent review of your payslip. For payslip differences, review your contribution base and pay components with your payroll administrator.
