Equivalent: 30-day month; 12-month year (360 days). Twice-monthly pay means 15 days, not 14. Each period result is scaled, not recalculated using monthly ISR. This does not predict actual annual payments.
Totals exclude bonuses, aguinaldo, vacation premium and benefits value. Notes do not affect calculations. Minimum benefits for IMSS; not employer cost.

LESS SMALL PRINT, MORE CLARITY
Understand what comes out of your salary.
A useful number. And the context to make better decisions.
01 / ISR
Tax on your income
The rate depends on your salary and pay period. We use the 2026 withholding tables published by SAT.
02 / IMSS
Your social security contribution
We estimate your employee contribution using integrated salary, years of service and minimum benefits. Employer contributions are excluded.
03 / SUBSIDY
A credit that reduces income tax
May apply to monthly income up to MXN $11,492.66. It offsets ISR; any unused amount is not paid in cash.
EXAMPLES · OCTOBER 2026
How much is left from MXN 20,000 gross?
Public monthly salary examples: general region, one year of service, minimum statutory benefits and no extra deductions. ISR shown after subsidy.
What is the difference between gross and net salary?
Gross salary is your income before deductions. Net salary is what remains after ISR, IMSS and any other deductions you enter.
Does quincenal mean every two weeks?
Here it means a 15-day pay period, not every 14 days. Monthly pay uses its own tax table, so it is not exactly twice the 15-day calculation.
Does the calculator store my salary?
No. Calculations run on this device. We do not send or store your salary. Optional analytics use broad salary bands and require your consent.
Does this include INFONAVIT, bonuses and aguinaldo?
Minimum aguinaldo and vacation premiums are used to estimate the social security contribution base, but are not added to regular pay. Add INFONAVIT loan repayments under other deductions. Bonuses and exempt income are not modeled.
